The second annual HardCORE Serious Trail Runner 5K & 10K will be held at North Mecklenburg Park on Feb. 26. The course is full of up and down hills, tree weaving, roots, rocks, bridges and even a brook crossing. The hardCORE run is a part of the Carolina Trail Run Series and proceeds support local Parks and Recreation Therapeutic Recreational programs for children with special needs.
