DAVIDSON – The Russell B. Knox Memorial Golf Tournament will be held next month at the River Run Country Club in support of the Cornelius, Davidson, Huntersville North Charlotte Lions Club.
The foursome captain’s choice tournament begins at 1 p.m. on April 18. The cost is $75 per player, which includes lunch, greens fees and a golf cart to use during the event.
The Lions Club also is looking for sponsors of the tournament at $200.
As part of its mission, the Lions Club employs 250 blind workers, runs Camp Dogwood for the visually impaired and provides eye exams and eyeglasses to anyone who cannot afford it.
