HUNTERSVILLE — CaliCos Haven, Inc., a nonprofit in Huntersville, will provide horse and pony rides at the annual Huntersville Christmas celebration Saturday, Dec. 11 from 5 to 8 p.m.  The Town of Huntersville and Brian’s Dog House Grill, a new restaurant opening in Rosedale, will be sponsoring the rides for the community at the event. In addition, Brian’s Dog House Grill will help CaliCos Haven sell hot dogs and drinks to benefit at-risk youth and others that need therapy in our community but could not otherwise afford it.
CaliCos Haven provides equine-assisted psychotherapy to individuals, with a focus on at-risk youth.
