Thank you for the idea and more importantly for following through and bringing us the stories of local heroes who served in our armed forces.



You are so correct that it is important to preserve and share the stories of those who have sacrificed so that we can enjoy the freedoms we have. One of the stories you shared was from my father-in-law, Cleveland Cox, who served in both the European and Pacific theaters in World War II.



I never tire of listening to him and asking just one more question. In an age of what seems like a deluge of negative publicity, my wife, Judy, and I enjoyed reading these stories.
