Twenty-seven students at Cannon School have earned AP Scholar Awards in recognition of their exceptional achievement on AP Exams taken in May 2010 after completing challenging college-level courses.
Current senior Nora Munger, of Davidson, qualified for the AP Scholar with Distinction Award by earning an average score of at least 3.5 on all AP Exams taken, and scores of 3 or higher on five or more of these exams.
Nine students qualified for the AP Scholar with Honor Award by earning an average score of at least 3.25 on all AP Exams taken, and scores of three or higher on four or more of these exams. They are: Mackenzie Dickerman, of Cornelius; Julie Harriss, of Concord; Tabby Horney, of Cornelius; Josh Lamb, of Mooresville; Graham Lombardi, of Concord; T.J. Parsons, of Davidson; Stephanie Schauder, of Huntersville; Eden Sipperly, of Mooresville; and Raffi Yessayan, of University City.
Seventeen students qualified for the AP Scholar Award by completing three or more AP Exams with grades of three or higher. They are: Alaina Altamura, of Kannapolis; Crystal Bennett, of Davidson; Caroline Cato, of Cornelius; Cameron Cook, of Mooresville; Byron Dollar, of Davidson; Shelby Dyl, of Davidson; Madeline Hurley, of Huntersville; Nila Kannan, of University City; Dylan Mason, of Cornelius; Laura Oddo, of Huntersville; Andrew Powell, of Cornelius; Rahul Ramkumar, of University City; Alex Rennie, of Cornelius; Courtney Reynolds, of Concord; Morgan Sexton, of Huntersville; Gavin West, of Charlotte; and Carrie White, of Concord.
