HUNTERSVILLE – North Mecklenburg Republican Women will host Hal Weatherman as keynote speaker Tuesday, Dec. 14, at NorthStone Club, 15801 NorthStone Drive, Huntersville. He will speak on homeland security and terrorism.

As an encore to his “Connect the Dots” presentation last December, Weatherman will discuss the security issues as related to current events.

Weatherman has served as chief of staff for U.S. Rep. Sue Myrick for 11 years.

Tickets, by reservation, are $20 and can be made by e-mailing nomeckrw@gmail.com.  Registration for the public event begins at 6 p.m., and dinner is at 6:45 p.m.

Monthly dinner meetings are held on the second Tuesday of the month and are open to the public. The club is an affiliate of the North Carolina Federation of Republican Women.
