Seventh-graders at Woodlawn School have qualified for the Duke University Talent Identification Program (Duke TIP).
Duke TIP aims to recognize high-achieving seventh-grade students. To qualify, students must score in the top 5 percent on a national standardized test or have scored at or above 125 on an IQ test. The students are then invited to participate in the Duke TIP 7th Grade Talent Search and take either the SAT or the ACT.
The 2010-2011 school year marks Woodlawn’s ninth year of participation in the program.
