CORNELIUS – Untangled Salon in Cornelius held a packing party Dec. 7. Guests brought toiletries and toys for children to the salon.

The items were packed into boxes, which will go to one of the local houses for victims of domestic abuse, while others will be delivered to children in Honduras through the Outreach Ministries at Cove Church in Mooresville.

The salon is also hosting an angel tree for the holiday season. Tags on the tree list a child’s name, age and desired gift. Cove Church will also distribute the angel tree gifts.
