CHARLOTTE – Jeff Tonidandel and Paul Manley, owners of Growlers Pour House and Crepe Cellar Kitchen & Pub are holding a fundraiser Wednesday, Nov. 10, from 6 to 8 p.m. to support fellow Davidson College alumna Alexandra McArthur, 23, in her role as Ms. Wheelchair America 2011.

Donations made during the event will help McArthur pay for appearances across the country. Tonidandel, Manley and Damian Dining operate Growlers, a gastropub serving craft beer and pub food, at 3120 N. Davidson St.

Judges named McArthur Ms. Wheelchair America in a national, weeklong competition based on advocacy, achievement, communication and presentation.

All contributions are tax deductible and benefit McArthur’s travel fund, through the Ms. Wheelchair America Organization, a 501(c)(3), nonprofit organization. For more information about the fundraiser, contact McArthur at 919-215-6002.
