Duke Energy’s McGuire Nuclear Station in Huntersville hosted a Tools for Schools drive, where hundreds of school supplies were donated by employees.
Pens, notebooks, book bags, glue and many other school supplies were delivered to Rock Springs Elementary in Denver on Nov. 1.

Tools for Schools donations are delivered in November to replenish school supplies, which begin to dwindle near the middle of the school year. The school supplies will be distributed to students who need them most.
