Taxpayers who have been waiting for tax bills from Mecklenburg County to arrive should soon see them in their mailboxes.

According to Finance Director Eric Hardy, the county expected to send out bills by the end of October but instead expects to have the remaining 800 bills ready for distribution by mid-November.
