CORNELIUS – Cornelius Elementary is participating in a contest for a $25,000 wellness grant from Henkel Helps, an initiative of the Henkel Corporation to help schools, communities and families nationwide address health issues faced by the nation’s youth.

The school encourages parents and teachers to visit the Henkel Helps website, www.henkelhelps.com, and vote for Cornelius Elementary.

If the school receives the grant, it plans to build an outdoor track and classroom for use by teachers, students and the community.
