Crews install the sign over the fire station at the Discovery Place Kids at Gilead and Old Statesville roads on Monday, Oct. 18. Museum staff and construction crews were busy putting the finishing touches on exhibits prior to Discovery Place Kids’s grand opening on Saturday, Oct. 23.
