The Cornelius Parks, Arts, Recreation and Culture Commission is sponsoring a public meeting Nov. 4 at 5:30 p.m. at Cornelius Town Hall, 21445 Catawba Ave., to review citizen comments on the town’s park and recreation needs.

The meeting will occur as part of the park commission’s regular monthly meeting in the Assembly Room. A short survey is posted online at http://bit.ly/PARCsurvey and town’s website, www.cornelius.org. The Capital Needs Survey will help determine what park and recreation facilities residents would like to see developed in Cornelius.

The Davidson Planning Department will hold a public comment session Monday, Oct. 25, at 7 p.m.

Developers of Davidson Commons East will give a presentation requesting that the 6.4-acre site on Davidson Gateway Drive behind the Community School of Davidson and Harris Teeter be changed from residential to commercial property. Time for public comments and questions will follow the presentation.
