The Town of Cornelius recently welcomed Tyler Beardsley as a new project manager. Beardsley attended Appalachian State University for both undergraduate and graduate school, where he earned a Bachelor of Science in Community & Regional Planning degree and a Master of Public Administration degree.  He worked in Wilkesboro and Elkin, and served as management advisor for three towns west of Winston Salem.  Although he lives in Yadkinville, he said he hopes to move to the Lake Norman area with his fiancée in the next couple of weeks.
