HUNTERSVILLE – The EnergyExplorium at McGuire Nuclear Station will host a free Family Hunting and Fishing Day Oct. 23 from 8:30 a.m. to 3 p.m. at the facility on Hagers Ferry Road.

Duke Energy is partnering with the N.C. Wildlife Resources Commission, N.C. Wildlife Federation, the National Wild Turkey Federation, Ten Ring Archery and the Lake Norman Power Squadron to provide sessions on hunting and boating safety, archery and youth fishing. Learn how to shoot an arrow, set up a tree stand and mimic a turkey call.
