Why are cars allowed to park on Bridgeton Lane and other streets in The Greens at Birkdale for days on end without moving. I thought it is a Huntersville traffic violation to stay more than 24 hours in one spot. I would like for someone to explain to me why people walk/run/bike in the street, instead of using a perfectly good sidewalk. Sidewalks offer pedestrians a safe area to walk, but people are constantly in the street (a few feet away from an empty sidewalk).
